Yeah, but they wouldn't be hanging and drowning themselves. They wouldn't be forced to fight for entertainment, they'd be fighting for territory and dominance, almost never to the death. They wouldn't be living in thier own filth.

They weren't fighting for territory. Their minds have just been so warped by abuse that they're aggressive toward anybody, mainly out of fear.

Number one, it's inhumane to get them into that state. Number two, it's inhumane to pit them against each other to brutalize each other for entertainment/gambling.

And it would be inhumane to let them live after that, but what Vick was doing was not mercy killing, it was sadism. Shooting a dog makes sense, but electrocution? Drowning? Slamming them into the ground? He wasn't doing that shit to save ammo, and there was nobody living around him that would hear gunshots. He was having fun torturing dogs to death.

Vick would have to be one of the dumbest persons alive to take part in killing dogs, betting on dogs, and training dogs to kill eachother.

IMO he might have known about it, but didn't partake in those activities.

Word is that there is a picture of Vick with one of the dogs involved, but that picture coulda been taken at anytime.
