Two days, two awesome films. This one was one of those that just hits you out of nowhere. I'm a huge fan of Zack Braff, Scrubs, and as you all know Natalie Portman, and I've been looking forward to it for a while, but I never expected it to be that good.

Natalie Portman, (whilst I'm biased), will be absolutely robbed if she doesn't get an oscar, as that was one of the best female performances I've ever seen. If Meryl fucking Streep wins again instead I'll hunt her down and kick her ass. Despite the fact that she has forever been "perfect girlfriend" material, in this film she is "ultimate perfect girlfriend material, to like the 99th power".

Best film for ages in my book.

And seeing as I'm on a run of watching great films, I'm gonna aim for a hattrick tomorrow night. Probably either Finding Neverland or Sidways if I can get me hands on it.

Garden State was really good. I, too, am a big Zach Braff and Scrubs fan. I watch every episode.

But I have to say, I loved Peter Sarsgaard in it, too, and I think he deserves a little mention. Speaking of Peter Sarsgaard, go rent/buy/Tivo Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass is on HBO like all the time.

Sarsgaard was real good in Boys Don't Cry.
