Everyone in the buisness world knows, the best way to get ahead in a company is golf. You meet up with your boss, or someone from another dept. be it to talk advancment or networking or what have you. You'd go shoot 18 holes and leave with either somne knowledge regarding the company or the innerworkings of certain things or whatever. Golf is good for buisness.

Well, a supervisor from another dept. just swung by my office on the way home and said he was having trouble finding people for a custom game he created and wants to try out, and he thought it would be cool if I joined up with them. He also extended a clan invite.

Are the early days spent on the course soon to be replaced by late night frag-fests? Instead of talking about the 9th hole at the local country club and the shot that was made to win the round, will people soon be talking about the secret niches in headlong or the best way to open the gates in Zanzibar? Only time will tell, but you can be sure if I see my manager running with the flag, I'm going to do my best to protect his ass ans insure a victory for our team.

That's pretty cool. I can imagine video games completely replacing the role of sports. Imagine turning on ESPN to catch the Halo 2 match.

It's not that big a deal. we got xbox at the store so it's cool like that. One of those vibrarian perks.

PS: Fuck you NetFlix. Stealing business like that with their good deals.

Hahaha. I really hope this turns out to be true, and promotions in business are now based on kill/death ratios.

"...and while deciding who our next board of dircetors shall be, my mind flashed back to that time we defeated the reds 3 to 0. Phreek, if you can do half as much for this company as you did for our team in that match, we are bound to lead theindustry within months. Conrats phreek, here's your company car and private parking spot."

Ahh..... if only.

Oh man, considering I'm no good at sports, and so lazy, if this were to happen I would have to give up my dream of becoming an actor and would have to join the corporate world.

I'd probably be the president by now.
