It was awesome.

For me (a huge film-noir guy) this movie ended up being the wet dream that I hoped it would be.

Now for my one major complaint... which really isn't "major" so I don't know why I said that.

When Hartigan's eyes close while he's hanging and it goes black for like five seconds, in the comicbook they actually go to the credit page so that you think the story is literally over. You see the page of credits and you're like "holy shit! I can't believe it".

I wish they had done that with the movie. I was psyched to see the credit's role for like ten seconds and see people start getting up when it comes back and he's like "No. I won't let it end this way."

That's not much of a complaint though... because if I had never read the comics that would have never occured to me.

I like the way that they connected the comics too... I had been wondering how they would do the thing with Dwight seeing Marv in the bar. How they did it, with the narration turning to Dwight for about a minute before reverting back to Marv was pretty cool.

In a word...amazing. I loved every second of it. Bruce willis was great as was mickey rourke. and it has jessica alba who is always a plus. the things i would eat out of her ass...
brittney murphy looked good for a change. the action was great, it was raw, disgusting, over the top, just a big pile of awesomeness.

Seeing this movie was the pinnacle of my existence. Then, after it was over, I went and hung out at this hot girl's house. Then I got stoned. Best night of my life, if you ask me.

I saw this movie, and I blew my load. The cinematography was absolutely beautiful, and the action was brutal. Mickey Rourke was badass and Jessica Alba was insanely hot. I really don't know how that can get much better.

I plan to watch it a bowl or two in next time.

Really good movie... I loved the cinematography...

But I'm not quite sure to understand the beginning and the end of the movie with Josh Harnett...

Josh Hartnett is the "Romantic" Hitman. The beginning is just the opening to establish his character and then they show him at the end with the rat-fink hooker from the Gilmore Girls, so you know she's gonna get hers.

Comprende?

I think his character is actually called "The Salesman" because that first segment is from the "Customer is Always Right" short story.

But yea... what he said.

I'M SEEING THIS AGAIN TOMORROW!

The comic books rule... they're nearly identical to the movies.

If you don't feel like buying them I could put up a few yousendits.
