Well sadly for me, as a Falkirk fan, the start to the season hasnt exactly been rosey and sweet......to be honest it has been a baptism of fire and this has forced me to be thankful; that Livingston are still around to battle against the drop with.

Although its the top end of the table that may rise a few eyebrows however. As of tonight Heart of Midlothian currently sit in first place with a 5 point gap over the closest chasing team and it aint one of the Old Firm.

Hibernian and Inverness Caledonian Thistle are the two teams on 10 points!!!

For a league that would have to go back more than a decade to find a champion that isnt Celtic or Rangers this makes for a welcome and happy change!

there is hope for all other teams yet!

Do any of you guys know what I am on about? If so what do you think.......actually its probably only me and Oo that would care but sod it I thought it was worth a mention!

i do agree but ithink our saving grase will be livingston and dumferline, but if we find our cutting edge i think we will be a match for any of the teams in the spl. i also think the fans need to raise there game aswell, and turn the new ground into a war zone!!!!!!!! so that teams will be intimadated. what do u think??????

Ah.well, if you supported undefeated Derby County, like my good self, you'd be well away.

Ah but unlike Derby, Falkirk are playing at the top division they can reach. Last season Falkirk won the Scottish First division by a country mile!

Anyways Falkirk's supporters have slipped from a vivacious singing mob that were quite unrelenting at tormenting to opposing sides players to a very orderly polite crowd that merely react to a goal or a heavy challenge.

~To be honest it sort of feels like the Falkirk fans are house guests in a newly decorated Living room and they dont want to get the place dirty and dont feel quite at home.

Oh and sorry folks....for anybody that cares that is, the second team chasing are Kilmarnock, not Caley Thistle.

I do agree that once the strike force bed down in the league and figure how to properly move through defences that they will propell Falkirk up the table to maybe 8th or 9th
